Pick a piece we made. Make it yours. We glaze it, fire it, and hand it back finished.

The wheel is not for everyone, and it does not need to be. Pottery painting is the shortest route into ceramics we have — you walk in, choose a ready bisque piece from the studio shelf, and spend the session painting it. No centring, no collapse, no learning curve. What you leave with is a real glazed ceramic you will actually use.

How it works

Step 2Choose your piece

Pick from the bisque shelf in studio. Prices below, from 25 to 240 QAR.

Step 3Paint it

Underglazes, brushes, tools and guidance are all included in your seat.

Step 4Collect it

We clear-glaze and fire it. Ready in 1–2 weeks, food-safe and dishwasher-safe.

Bring your own piece. Made something in one of our workshops, or somewhere else? Bring it back and paint it. Same 50 QAR seat, no piece to buy. Pieces made outside our studio are accepted at our discretion — send us a photo first.

Groups, parties and private sessions

Pottery painting is the easiest format to run with a group, because everyone finishes at the same time and nobody is waiting for a wheel. Birthdays, team days, school trips, bridal parties, family gatherings.

Private Pottery Painting gives your group a dedicated section of the studio, your own date and time, and access to come in and set up beforehand.

Questions people actually ask

Do I need any experience?None. This is the format we recommend to people who have never touched clay.
How long does a session take?Around 90 minutes. Take longer if you want to — nobody rushes you off the table.
What age is it suitable for?Any. It is the one thing in the studio a five-year-old and a grandparent can do side by side.
Will the colours look like they do when I paint them?No, and this is the part everyone loves. Underglaze goes on chalky and matte, then the clear glaze and the kiln bring the colour up. What comes out is brighter than what went in.
Can I use it for food and drink?Yes. Everything we glaze is food-safe, dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe once fired.
When do I get it back?1 to 2 weeks. We message you when it is ready.
Can I paint more than one piece?Yes. One seat, as many pieces as you want to pay for.
